The leading company in the sector of scenographic and event coverings is aiming for 2021

Privitera Eventi, leader in the sector of scenographic coverings and events confirms its participation in New York Design Week 2021 together with the partners of the latest editions of Milan Design Week, DDN HUB and Euro-toques Italia, with its president Enrico Derflingher. The company will also be the protagonist of the Milan Design week from 05 to 10 September 2021.

The business strategy of the Italian company in response to the health emergency is to target the North American market for the next few years starting from May 2021 in New York with the “Italian Experience” project in the context of the Open to the Sky event. The idea is to promote Made in Italy by representing the all-Italian values of beauty, craftsmanship, creativity, luxury and culture.

“We are very proud to be able to represent the Made in Italy in the United States, especially in Times Square. In fact, there is no memory of any Italian company that has been able to privatize this area of the big apple to organize its own event and to meet its American stakeholders. The US market is a reference market for the Italian economy: let’s not forget that Americans are among the “big spenders” in luxury tourism in Italy, spending about 5 billion in our beautiful country every year. Let us also remember that a share of these 5 billion is represented by the wedding destination, in fact the foreign brides who love Italy as a destination are precisely the Americans “said Massimo Privitera, creator of the Serra La Fenice of Privitera Eventi.

The company confirms its leadership and influence in the events sector by using a modern and high-impact marketing strategy, which integrates tradition and innovation, and which translates into an experience and a story. The highlight of the event will be the publication of a refined volume, published by DDN, as well as the presentation event, which will take place in Times Square and which will be set up in the La Fenice greenhouse by Privitera. Many talks will be hosted inside the greenhouse from the 12th to 22nd of May 2021.

“The Design Diffusion World Group with the DDN magazine could only be the promoter of the Italian Experience project as internationality is in its DNA, and therefore the communication of Made in Italy in the world. Design, food, hospitality, fashion will be told within a volume through the personal stories of entrepreneurs and creatives who make Italian ‘know-how’ a philosophy recognized and appreciated all over the planet. This volume will literally come to life in Times Square in NY, where we have already been present for some time during the NYCxDESIGN event and that this year, together with Privitera Eventi and the other numerous partners who will be present with their products presented also thanks to engaging performances, it will give the target audience a unique experience ”said Francesca Russo, CEO of the publishing group.

La Fenice will become a place to give life to new projects that are not opposed to the great Italian traditions, but rather will embrace them in complete harmony, presenting itself as both the guardian and the innovator of Italian craftsmanship. The book, which will be published under the title “The Italian Experience”, will collect in its pages stories of daily life, made both from the places of the Bel Paese, told through images, and through real life stories. It stands not only as a book, but as a real experience, from which the concept of the presentation event derives.

The inaugural event will also offer the highly selected guests an unusual point of view, sipping and tasting gastronomic excellence combined with history, art and architecture that arise from Italian work and creativity of today and past.

“Italian cuisine has always been synonymous with excellence and genuineness all over the world. There are literally hundreds of traditional Italian dishes and each region has a wide range of recipes that are handed down from generation to generation; it is no coincidence that Italy, from the point of view of gastronomic traditions, is truly unique in the world. Our goal is to convey the “dream” of our culture in the kitchen, through an experiential message that we have always brought to the table with our dishes, as true ambassadors of our country abroad. I am proud together with my illustrious colleagues to represent Italy and Euro-Toques in this unrivaled experience in the United States “said Enrico Derflingher.

The choice of brands presented in the volume and in the New York event has not yet been completed. Based on the Milan Design Week experience, the organizers of the event strongly believe that the presence in this event can create a discriminating factor between “who was there” and “who was not there”. This represents a strategic positioning advantage that will turn into a market advantage as soon as consumption is freed from the burden of the Covid-19 emergency.

“We are truly honored and proud to be a partner of a team with a project of the highest quality and international scope. A project that speaks to the whole world, from unprecedented and primary stages, of innovation and creativity from Italy. A proactive and successful way to talk about Italy abroad “
said Paola Frigerio, Leisure, Marketing and Network Director – Frigerio Viaggi.
