La Valmont Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week è ancora una volta “sold out”, con oltre 400 marchi che hanno confermato la loro partecipazione a quello che sarà il più grande evento organizzato fino ad ora. Questi risultati confermano la tendenza al rialzo della VBBFW, che, dopo cinque anni di crescita sostenuta, vedrà un aumento del 10% del numero di marchi partecipanti. Le aziende internazionali rappresenteranno il 70% del totale, affermando l’evento, organizzato dalla Fira de Barcelona, come leader mondiale e centro di affari internazionali per la moda e gli accessori da sposa, da cocktail e da sera.

Marchesa, The Atelier by Jimmy Choo, Antonio Riva e Zac Posen, debuttano a Barcellona. Inoltre, Marchesa dagli Stati Uniti, presenterà le sue creazioni in fiera e la collezione Marchesa Bridal Couture Spring 2020 e una selezione di abiti da sera della linea Ready to Wear sfileranno sulla passerella della Barcelona Bridal Night (prevista per il 24 aprile). Questa sarà la prima volta che questo marchio nordamericano, tra i più ammirati al mondo, presenta la sua collezione da sposa in Europa.

Le “new entries” comprendono anche The Atelier Couture della Malesia, il cui direttore creativo è Jimmy Choo, famoso specialista di calzature e imprenditore di successo. Nel 2017, il designer ha preso la guida creativa di The Atelier Couture, che presenterà la sua nuova collezione di abiti da sposa haute couture in passerella e alla fiera di VBBFW 2019.

Dall’Italia vi è il ritorno di Peter Langner e Carlo Pignatelli, mentre Antonio Riva, uno dei più prestigiosi ambasciatori della moda made in Italy nel mondo e un nome affermato non solo in Italia ma anche in Russia, Stati Uniti e Giappone, farà il suo debutto. Anche Tosca, Maison Signore, Iris Noble e Valentini prenderanno parte al progetto per la prima volta.

La Valmont Barcellona Bridal Fashon Week si svolgerà dal 26 al 28 aprile, al termine delle sfilate che si svolgeranno dal 23 al 26 aprile. Sia la sfilata che la fiera si terranno presso la sede Montjuïc di Fira de Barcelona.

The VBBFW (Valmont Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week) trade fair has once again put up its “sold out” sign, with more than 400 brands having confirmed their attendance at what is set to be the largest event so far. These results reaffirm the upward trend of VBBFW, which, after five years of sustained growth, will witness a 10% rise in the number of participating brands. International firms will account for 70% of the total, firmly establishing the exhibition, organized by Fira de Barcelona, as a world leader and a hub of international business for bridal, cocktail and evening wear fashion and accessories.

Marchesa, The Atelier by Jimmy Choo, Antonio Riva and Zac Posen, due to make their débuts in Barcelona. We should highlight Marchesa from the USA, which will present its creations at the trade fair and its Marchesa Bridal Couture Spring 2020 collection and a selection of party dresses from its Ready to Wear line on the Barcelona Bridal Night catwalk (scheduled for 24 April). This will be the first time that this North American brand, among the most admired in the world, displays its bridal collection in Europe.
