La seconda edizione di WIM si rivolge ai professionisti del territorio che operano nell’industria dei matrimoni

 

Anche nel 2018 la Toscana si conferma la regione leader del mercato nazionale con una quota pari al 30.9% e con un volume di affari di oltre 160 milioni di euro (*i dati si riferiscono alla ricerca aggiornata al 2018 del Centro Studi Turistici di Firenze). Parallelamente cresce sempre di più l’interesse verso altre destinazioni, come la Campania, la Puglia, la Lombardia e il Veneto. Per questa ragione si ripete Wedding Industry Meeting, un evento made in Tuscany che lo scorso anno ha coinvolto circa 250 operatori di settore e definito oltre 400 B2B programmati tra wedding planner nazionali e supplier Toscani. La seconda edizione di WIM si terrà il 20 marzo a Villa Corsini a Mezzomonte, Firenze e avrà una durata giornaliera tra appuntamenti pianificati, pannel discussion e conferenze formative.

Al momento sono oltre 50 i wedding planner che hanno confermato la partecipazione all’evento e che nei prossimi giorni potranno selezionare i supplier da incontrare tramite un programma di matchmaking. Tra i seller molti sono soci e partner del Destination Florence Convention and Visitors Bureau che, per il secondo anno consecutivo, con la divisione Tuscany for Weddings sarà Host Destination Partner dell’evento.

In occasione dell’evento del 20 marzo, sarà interessante l’intervento pomeridiano del Centro Studi Turistici, che ha deciso anche per questa edizione di sostenere WIM, presentando l’upgrade della ricerca Destination Weddings in Tuscany 2018.

Wedding industry Meeting è diviso in due momenti strategici e formativi. La prima parte è dedicata ad appuntamenti B2B programmati tra wedding planner e professionisti del settore: i wedding planner avranno l’occasione di conoscere e confrontarsi con operatori altamente specializzati come flower designer, catering, fotografi, videomaker, esperti di comunicazione, service, location, hotel, venue ecc.

La seconda parte della giornata sarà caratterizzata da più conferenze nelle quali interverranno esperti del settore wedding, che presenteranno una propria analisi sull’andamento del destination wedding in Toscana. L’evento si concluderà con un Panel Discussion tra gli operatori presenti per confrontarsi sulle novità del mercato.

The second edition of WIM is aimed at local professionals working in the wedding industry

At the same time, the interest in other destinations, such as Campania, Puglia, Lombardy and Veneto region, is growing more and more. For this reason the Wedding Industry Meeting is repeated, a made in Tuscany event that last year involved about 250 operators in the sector and defined over 400 B2B scheduled between national wedding planners and Tuscan suppliers. The second edition of WIM will be held March 20 at Villa Corsini in Mezzomonte, Florence and will have daily scheduled appointments, panel discussion and training conferences.

At the moment there are over 50 wedding planners who have confirmed their participation in the event and who in the next days will be able to select the suppliers to be met through a matchmaking program. Among the many sellers. a lot are partners of the Destination Florence Convention and Visitors Bureau that, for the second consecutive year, with the Tuscany for Weddings division will be Host Destination Partner of the event.

Wedding industry Meeting is divided into two strategic and training moments. The first part is dedicated to B2B appointments scheduled between wedding planners and professionals in the sector: the wedding planners will have the opportunity to get to know and deal with highly specialized operators such as flower designers, caterers, photographers, videomakers, communication experts, service, location, hotel, venue etc.

The second part of the day will be characterized by several conferences in which experts from the wedding sector will take part, who will present their own analysis on the trend of destination wedding in Tuscany. The event will end with a Panel Discussion among the operators present to discuss the market news.
