Italians celebrate their future spouses through a trend in bachelor and bachelorette trips, unveiled by Hotels.com®

In estate aumentano le feste di addio al nubilato e al celibato e Hotels.com® svela le nuove tendenze per celebrare le future nozze di amici o parenti. Dal nuovo studio commissionato da Hotels.com su 300 italiani adulti, emerge che sono leggermente più diffuse le partecipazioni agli addii al celibato, in media 4 volte nella vita, rispetto a quelli al nubilato (in media 3 volte nella volte) e che i viaggi in occasione di questi eventi avvengono più frequentemente in Italia che all’estero (94% vs 45%).

I dati della ricerca di Hotels.com lo dimostrano: il 46% dei partecipanti al sondaggio ritiene che i viaggi di addio al nubilato/celibato verso mete “tradizionali” siano scontati e banali e circa un italiano su due (49%) pensa sia meglio esplorare nuove destinazioni, meglio se al di fuori dei circuiti turistici di massa. Inoltre, ben il 60% sarebbe propenso a spendere dei soldi in più se la destinazione e il programma dell’addio al nubilato e celibato fossero interessanti e originali. Proprio in merito ai costi, il 75% giudica queste attività molto dispendiose – il costo medio complessivo di un viaggio per festeggiare futuri sposi si aggira sugli €869 per l’Italia e circa €1.470 per un viaggio all’estero che dura in media tre giorni e mezzo – tuttavia il 62% non rinuncerebbe mai a festeggiare l’amica o l’amico che sta per convolare a nozze nonostante i forti costi da sostenere e ben un italiano su due desidererebbe che l’addio al nubilato/celibato avvenisse all’estero. A questo proposito le località estere più quotate tra gli italiani risultano essere nell’ordine Las Vegas (25%), subito seguita da Londra (24%) e Ibiza (20%).

During summer and the warm season comes the rise of bachelor and bachelorette parties, as couples and their friends look to celebrate their impending nuptials. Following the trend, a new study from Hotels.com® reveals the key bachelor and bachelorette trends this summer.

The research commissioned by Hotels.com revealed, that bachelor parties are currently more popular than bachelorette, with Italians experiencing on average four stag parties in their lifetime; compared to three hen parties. When it comes to where to celebrate the stag and hen, these were more likely to take place at home rather than abroad (94% vs 45%).The data from the Hotels.com search shows this: 46% of the survey participants believe that hen or bachelorette trips to “traditional” destinations are obvious and trivial and about one in two Italians (49%) thinks it’s better to explore new destinations, better if outside the mass tourist circuits.

In addition, as many as 60% would be inclined to spend more money if the destination for the hen and stag party program were interesting and original. With regard to costs, 75% consider these activities to be very expensive – the average overall cost of a trip to celebrate future spouses is around € 869 for Italy and about € 1470 for a trip abroad that lasts an average of three and a half days – however 62% would never give up celebrating with the friend who is about to get married despite the heavy costs to be incurred and well one Italian out of two would like the bachelor / bachelorette party to take place abroad. In this regard, the most popular foreign locations among Italians are in the Las Vegas order (25%), immediately followed by London (24%) and Ibiza (20%).
