La Masseria San Nicola fu fatta costruire dal Principe di Carbonelli nel 1600 circa. Successivamente fu acquistata dalla famiglia Camicia nel 1800 come dimora estiva.
I Giardini della Masseria San Nicola sono in linea con il tipico giardino ottocentesco delle ville e dei palazzi pugliesi: è circondato da mura e dotato di stradine per il passeggio e soprattutto ricco di profumi e colori:dalla bouganville agli agrumi, dalle piante aromatiche alle rose.
