Carlo Pignatelli celebrates his 50-year career at the "salon of excellence" in Florence

I nuovi talenti della sartoria e i maestri dell’artigianato si daranno appuntamento a Palazzo Capponi Vettori il prossimo 12 giugno al “Salon of Excellence”, l’atteso appuntamento organizzato in sinergia con la Camera Italiana Buyer Moda, in concomitanza con la 94ma edizione di Pitti Uomo di Firenze.

Protagonista della fashion hub sarà l’eleganza sartoriale Made in Italy di Carlo Pignatelli che festeggia il cinquantesimo anniversario di carriera presentando a Firenze le nuove Collezioni Uomo Sartorial 2019 e Cerimonia 2019 e un’anteprima della Collezione Cerimonia Donna 2019. Creazioni couture celebrative dell’immaginario creativo della Maison ripercorrono i temi che hanno ispirato il Grande Maestro, nel corso dei 50 anni della sua carriera e che hanno guidato la creazione di abiti concepiti come opere d’arte: il cinema, il teatro, i personaggi che hanno segnato la storia e il costume, icone di stile e protagonisti di sogni passati, presenti e futuri. Abiti dall’appeal deciso, uniti dal fil rouge dell’emozione, che hanno ridisegnano la figura maschile e che hanno rivoluzionato il vestire d’occasione: il guru da principe indiano del Rajasthan, la redingote del dandy Oscar Wilde, il frak corto del Principe Harry d’Inghilterra, lo smoking dai rever larghi di Marcello Mastroianni.

The new talents of the tailor shop and the masters of craftsmanship will meet at Palazzo Capponi Vettori on 12 June at the “Salon of Excellence”, the long-awaited event organized in synergy with the Italian Chamber of Buyer Moda, in conjunction with the 94th edition of Pitti Man of Florence.

The protagonist of the fashion hub will be the Made in Italy sartorial elegance of Carlo Pignatelli who celebrates the fiftieth anniversary of his career presenting in Florence the new Sartorial 2019 and Ceremony 2019 Collections and a preview of the 2019 Ceremony Collection. Ceremonial creations celebrating the imaginary The Maison’s creativeness revisits the themes that inspired the Grand Master, during the 50 years of his career and which guided the creation of clothes conceived as works of art: the cinema, the theater, the characters that have marked the history and the costume, style icons and protagonists of past, present and future dreams. Gowns with a strong appeal, united by the common thread of emotion, who redesign the male figure and who have revolutionized the occasion dress: the Indian prince of Rajasthan, the redingote of the dandy Oscar Wilde, the short frak of the Prince Harry of England, the tuxedo with wide lapels by Marcello Mastroianni.
