Il percorso di bellezza della sposa ha inizio molti mesi prima della data fatidica. Spesso il restyling prevede un rituale lungo e accurato, nel quale nulla è lasciato al caso e il dettaglio trova ragione nella quotidianità della cura estetica.

«Nel momento in cui viene fissata la data delle nozze – ha spiegato Carmelo Spina – ha inizio il percorso per arrivare al matrimonio nelle condizioni migliori possibili. Per prima cosa va fatto un lavoro sui capelli, affinché possano essere sani e curati. Sono spesso consigliati trattamenti botox, rimpolpanti o lucidanti, soprattutto qualora si scegliesse un’acconciatura libera o semi raccolta. Nel caso in cui invece la sposa desiderasse una soluzione raccolta, è preferibile dare al colore una sorta di discromia, optando per tonalità diverse che vadano a risaltare l’acconciatura stessa. Il tutto evidentemente prediligendo colori  che non siano eccessivi. Per me è fondamentale che la futura moglie appaia sobria ed elegante. Poi c’è la cura della pelle. Non solo i trattamenti estetici di ringiovanimento, anche semplicemente una pulizia del viso, per arrivare al momento del trucco con un aspetto fresco, pulito».

La commistione tra make up e acconciatura, tra luce e colore, tra misure e ornamenti, è il fattore dominante nella ricerca del massimo risultato perseguibile. Deve venire a crearsi una sorta di armonia simbiotica tra i singoli dettagli, affinché il quadro d’insieme sia coerente e plausibile.

«Prediligo un trucco che appaia naturale e l’acconciatura deve necessariamente essere in sintonia. – Prosegue Carmelo – L’insieme perfetto si realizza attraverso lo studio dei tratti somatici, dell’altezza, della forma delle spalle, dell’altezza del collo. Spesso incontriamo spose con acconciature bellissime, che però non si addicono alla loro persona. E ancora bisogna osservare la personalità della sposa, il suo modo di camminare con i tacchi. Vedete, esistono tante accortezze, e nell’immaginare il lavoro che andrò a fare non potrò non tenere conto della resa fotografica, piuttosto che della location scelta per il ricevimento».

«Chiaramente esistono delle tendenze; e diciamo che negli ultimi anni si tende ad un modello di sposa che esprima sobrietà, eleganza, con un’acconciatura molto curata, spille preziose, brillantini e perle. Questo chiaramente in riferimento al contesto nazionale. Ho avuto spose in tutto il mondo, dall’Iraq alla Cina. Eppure la più complicata in assoluto è stata quella indiana. Non avete idea dei rituali previsti per il giorno delle nozze. La donna per l’occasione deve essere tatuata, dipinta come una Madonna. E ad esempio la riga nei capelli deve essere a sua volta colorata secondo un significato preciso. E’ davvero stimolante venire a contatto con le usanze più disparate legate al matrimonio. In qualsiasi contesto però, a prescindere dalla sua unicità, è necessario che io sappia muovermi in maniera coordinata rispetto all’intera équipe. Ecco perché è importante un lavoro di pianificazione completo e coerente».

«When the wedding date is set – Carmelo Spina explained – the path to get to the wedding in the best possible conditions begins. First you need to work on the hair, to make it healthy and cared for. Botox, plumping or polishing treatments are often recommended, especially if you choose a free or semi-collected hairstyle. In the event that the bride chooses a collected hairstyle, it is preferable to give the color different shades that highlight the same hairstyle. All evidently preferring colors that are not excessive. It is essential for me that the future wife looks sober and elegant. Then you need to take care of your skin. Not only the aesthetic rejuvenation treatments, but also a simple cleansing of the face, to get to the moment of make-up with a fresh and clean look».

The mix between make-up and hairstyle, between light and color, between measures and ornaments, is the dominant factor in the search for the maximum achievable result. A sort of symbiotic harmony between the individual details must be created, so that the overall picture is coherent and plausible.

«I prefer a make-up that appears natural and the hairstyle must necessarily be in harmony. – Carmelo continues – The perfect ensemble is achieved through the study of the somatic traits, the height, the shape of the shoulders, the height of the neck. We often meet brides with beautiful hairstyles, which however don’t suit their person. It is necessary to observe the personality of the bride, her way of walking in heels. You see, there are many precautions, and when I study the work I’m going to do I have to consider the photographic rendering rather than the location chosen for the reception».

«Clearly there are tendencies; and let’s say that in recent years there is a model of bride that expresses sobriety, elegance, with a very well-groomed hairstyle, precious brooches, glitter and pearls. This is the inspiration in the Italian context. I have had brides all over the world, from Iraq to China. Yet the most complicated of all was the Indian one. You have no idea what rituals are planned for the wedding day. For the occasion, the woman must be tattooed, painted like a Madonna. And for example the line in the hair must be colored according to a precise meaning. It is truly stimulating to come into contact with the most disparate customs related to marriage. In any context, however, regardless of its uniqueness, it’s necessary that I know how to move in a coordinated manner with respect to the entire team. That’s why a complete and coherent planning job is important».
