Potete descrivere la nuova collezione e dirci cosa vi ha ispirato quest’anno?
Per realizzare la collezione Bridal abbiamo guardato alle spose contemporanee e non convenzionali che cercano proposte alternative e moderne al classico abito, senza rinunciare allo stile e alla qualità che contraddistingue il brand Max Mara.
Non poteva quindi mancare la proposta del suiting dall’impeccabile costruzione sartoriale articolato nel completo con pantalone e nel blazer tuxedo abbinato alla gonna dritta, omaggio a Bianca Jagger.
Quale aspetto vi emoziona di più nel settore bridal ?
Questo settore è in continua evoluzione e richiede una ricerca molto accurata in termini di proposte stilistiche, di materiali e di lavorazioni. Il giorno del matrimonio è molto importante per ogni donna che desidera per quel momento la perfezione. Le esigenze e i desideri sono molteplici e diversi: riuscire a soddisfarli rendendo ciascuna donna speciale e unica per quest’occasione e contribuire alla realizzazione del suo sogno è ciò che ci emoziona maggiormente.
Come descrivereste la sposa moderna ?
Non ci sono più regole precise da seguire: ogni donna oggi ha un immaginario proprio e un desiderio preciso che in molti casi rompe gli schemi tradizionali. La sposa moderna riflette la propria personalità nel giorno del suo sì ed è quindi molto importante offrire idee e soluzioni che la rappresentino al meglio.
Come si riconosce l’abito perfetto ?
L’abito perfetto è quello che emoziona.
Che sia un lungo abito bianco, un tailleur dalle proporzioni sartoriali, una gonna speciale abbinata a un top, un abito corto ricamato o colorato che si presta a un cambio d’abito per il ricevimento, è la luce negli occhi della futura sposa che si vede per la prima volta che fa riconoscere “quello giusto”!
Qual è secondo voi l’accessorio essenziale per una sposa ?
Cerchietti con velette, fascinator dalle costruzioni artigianali e piccole decorazioni di cristalli sono essenziali per impreziosire le acconciature e creare un twist nuovo e molto personale agli abiti. E, perché no, un chiodo di pelle bianco!
Quali sono i progetti futuri di Max Mara Bridal ?
A partire da Settembre la nostra Collezione Bridal sarà presente anche nei flagship store di Londra, Parigi e Madrid per proporre il nostro “wedding concierge” anche in Europa, grazie al nostro personale specializzato e ai nostri servizi esclusivi.

Can you describe the new collection and tell us what inspired you this year?
To create the Bridal collection we looked at contemporary and unconventional brides looking for alternative and modern proposals for the classic dress, without sacrificing the style and quality that distinguishes the Max Mara brand.
So we could not miss the proposal of the suiting from the impeccable sartorial construction articulated in the suit with trousers and in the tuxedo blazer combined with the straight skirt, a tribute to Bianca Jagger.
Which aspect excites you most in the bridal sector?
This sector is constantly evolving and requires a very thorough research in terms of stylistic proposals, materials and workmanship. The wedding day is very important for every woman who wants perfection for that moment. The needs and desires are many and different: being able to satisfy them by making each woman special and unique for this occasion and contributing to the realization of her dream is what excites us the most.
How would you describe the modern bride?
There are no more precise rules to follow: every woman today has her own imagination and a precise desire that in many cases breaks the traditional patterns. The modern bride reflects her personality on her yes day and it is therefore very important to offer ideas and solutions that best represent her.
How do you recognize the perfect dress?
The perfect dress is the one that excites.
Whether it’s a long white dress, a tailored suit, a special skirt combined with a top, a short embroidered or colored dress that lends itself to a change of dress for the reception, it’s the light in the eyes of the future bride who sees for the first time that he recognizes “the right one”!
What do you think is the essential accessory for a bride?
Headbands with veils, fascinators with handcrafted constructions and small crystal decorations are essential to embellish the hairstyles and create a new and very personal twist to the dresses. And why not, a white leather jacket!
What are the future projects of Max Mara Bridal?
Starting from September, our Bridal Collection will also be present in the flagship stores in London, Paris and Madrid to offer our “wedding concierge” also in Europe, thanks to our specialized staff and our exclusive services.
